Pinterest Round-Up: Furniture Edition

I was going through my ever-growing Bloglovin feed and came across Karen's post asking about renovating furniture. This is something that I love to do. Sadly, though, I don't have as much time for it as I would like. That leaves me leafing through Pinterest and noting all the stuff I would rather be doing than cleaning the house. Here are some of the furniture DIYs that I'm itching to try:

A few days ago I saw this tutorial on a nightstand makeover with distressed chalk paint from Enjoy The View and fell in love.  She even made her own chalk paint for the project!

When we finally get our own place, I know I'll need a kitchen island. I did in our last place, after all, and was never able to get one. Forget buying one, I could totally make my own! I found this DIY for a kitchen island inspired by pottery barn from Shanty 2 Chic. It's so cute and homey!

If you saw this piece of furniture sitting in your friend's house what would you guess you made this out of? Would you say an old tv? Check it out at Craft By Photo.

It is amazing what a layer of paint can do for a piece of furniture! Such a large piece is bound to make a great impact! Want to learn more? Look on DIY and Craft Tutorials

I love pallets. I would build something from them every day if I could. This headboard, with its perfect stain and stencil, is just gorgeous. You can find the tutorial for it at Little Bits Of.

If you have any requests for my next What I Love On Pinterest, please leave it in the comments! Check out more of my furniture inspiration on my Pinterest page!
