One Year Old.

On October 21st of last year I posted that I was officially on Etsy. I definitely didn't know what I was getting into. My first item was a crochet basket that was incredibly under priced that I never sold a single one of and I don't even offer it at the moment. I made my first sell less than two months later when I began selling my hand-painted canvas Minecraft Creeper shoes. After selling out of the original green as well as four other color options, I don't sell those anymore, either.

At some point I fell off the blogging map. Now I'm back with a game plan! And I mean Google Calendar kind of game plan!

Since my disappearance, I've made a Facebook and Tumblr for Little Wonderland. I've also opened a whole new branch on Storenvy. I've moved all of my "geekery" items onto the new branch and have made room on my Etsy shop for basic crochet items, such as hats, scarves, etc, as well as opened it up as a selling platform for local sellers who don't know or simply don't want to mess with opening their own shop. Yeah, it's a mouthful. Try explaining it to people at a family reunion.

So, here I am, a year later. I'm a small business owner, I'm in my first real home with my husband, I'm down to my lowest weight since I was 18, I've fixed a sink, and I think I've finally made it to my feet in life!

To celebrate Little Wonderland's birthday and the significance this anniversary represents, October is Customer Appreciation Month. If you would like to order anything from Etsy or Storenvy, use the coupon code APPRECIATE2014 for 10% off your order!

And by the way, you may want to keep an eye on Little World Called Wonderland because I'm back with a bang!
