Sunday Social

"It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are."
-EE Cummings

1. What do you value most in life?
I would have to say my relationship with God.  I wasn't saved until I was older, and it has been difficult to establish myself as a Christian. I've had many ups and downs, but I think I'm finally finding where I need to be in my relationship with God.

2. What do you think is the greatest invention in your life and why?
My phone! I'm not going to lie: I'm technologically dependent. My whole life is on that thing!

3. What do you think is the secret to a good life?
Letting go. I have the WORST time with it though.

4. What would you most like to be remembered for when you're gone?
 Having a kind heart.

5. What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?
This is a tough one...I guess it would be getting into the nursing program.

  1. Ah! I skipped Sunday Social this week - life got in the way. I'd have to say I agree with you on #3 - letting go goes a long way to helping you be happy. It's very hard - but essential to moving on. I read a post by a bloggy friend recently who wrote something about how she went to a talk where the theme was that you need to be the landlord of your soul (or something like that) - the point was, people can do horrible things to you, but it's YOU who controls how that impacts your life moving forward - so you need to evict them from you and move on. I liked the metaphor.

    Best! - Louise

    1. Wow, I really like that metaphor. I've definitely had to do some "evictions" during my time! Haha!

Thanks for stopping by again! Your comments always make me smile!

  2. congratulations on getting into the nursing program! I was so proud of my sister when she started nursing school and even more when she graduated!

    1. Thank you very much! It's a tough program, but worth it! Congratulations to your sister! She accomplished something that not a lot of people are cut out for.

      Thanks for stopping by!
